2024 Outstanding Senior Citizen Nominations

Nominations for the Outstanding Senior Citizen(s) for Lac qui Parle County are now being accepted. Forms for nominations are available from Julie Olson at 507-829-3302 or leave a message at 320-598-3989 (Fair Office). Nominees must have reached the age of 70 years and are considered for their contributions after age 65. Awardees will be recognized at the La qui Parle County Fair on Thursday, September 5th, 2024. All nominations must be submitted no later than July 12th, 2024.

On May 8th, Lac qui Parle Broadcasting Co., Inc. filed an application with the Federal Communications for assignment of its broadcast license. Members of the public wishing to view this application or obtain information about how to file comments and petitions on the application can visit publicfiles.fcc.gov and search in KLQP-FM’s public file.
